Lemonaide

Lemonaide is easy to make. Why take the time to pull out a frozen can of overly sweet fruit slush to mix with water if you can make real lemonaide in less time?

Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 Lemon or 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 3 23s Water
  • sweetener
  • pitcher
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • stirring stick or spoon

Directions

Juice the lemon or use the lemon juice from a bottle.  Never use the lemon stuff from the plastic lemons as it rarely has actual juice in them.  Mix in the water and as you are stirring, add your sweetener about 1 teaspoon at a time until you get the sweetness you like.

Try using different sweeteners for different tastes.  White cane sugar is the standard, but try using honey or agave.  You can use artificial sweeteners if you are sensitive to sugars, but only add some to taste.  You can even try the lemonaide without any sweetener and see how macho you are.
