Raison Carrot Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Carrot
  • 1 23 Raisons Black or Dark preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Cider Vinegar
  • 1 dash Honey

Utensils

  • Grater or Mandolin with shredding atachment A knife will work, but it takes a while.
  • Covered Container

Directions

Good for cooling down a spicy curry or sweetening up a piccata. Grate the carrot into shreds, add the raisons, vinegar and honey.  Mix and put into a sealed container.  It will stay fresh for up to three days if kept cool.
