Enhanced Spaghettios

Sometimes I need to feed lots of people immediately. This is a cheat recipe that I love to fall back on. It is a good main dish and heats in the time it takes to chop salad and make toast.

Ingredients

  • 1 large Can Pasta Spaghettios, Spaghettios with meatballs or other canned pasta
  • 1 large Can Tomato Sauce/Pasta Sauce Same amount/size as first can
  • Water About 1/2 cup

Utensils

  • 1 Sauce Pan
  • 1 Heat Proof Spatula
  • Can Opener

Directions

Get this on the stove and then start with whatever else you are making for your instant dinner.

Time: About 10 minutes to heat

Temp: Medium on the burner

Technique: Open the cans and put into sauce pan.  Use the water to rinse out the remainder of sauce in the cans and pour into the sauce pan.

Add almost anything you want from here – from sausage or pepperoni to red wine or even fresh vegetables.

We recommend adding a few croutons to help soak up the extra sauce.

Serve immediately.  Store any you do not eat for lunch the next day.
